Thomas Joel Alicandri, 72, was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, as he would always let everyone know. He moved to Fairfield, NJ to raise his family where they resided for 27 years. He suddenly passed away at home on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He was the devoted father of Kristin Alicandri and David Alicandri, the dear brother of Gary Alicandri, Ronald & his wife Georgia Alicandri and Joan Billeci. He was the loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. He is also survived by former wife Patty Alicandri. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Guido Alicandri.
A self-proclaimed “Mr. Show Biz”, he was an avid movie and music buff, with a noteworthy record and movie collection. After years of running a successful business selling rock-and-roll memorabilia to record stores across the tri-state area, he spent his later years appearing as an extra on several TV programs. He was known to Sirius radio listeners as “Yum Yum” appearing as a frequent guest on the 50s on 5 station. You could always find him in his NY Giants gear singing a song or trying to make someone smile. To know him was to love him and he will forever be remembered and loved for the BEAUTIFUL man he was. “Unforgettable in every way And forever more, that's how you'll stay”
