Thomas Paranzine, Jr.

Paranzine, Thomas Jr. of Fairfield formally of Newark. Thomas was married in 1962 to Margaret (nee Palmarozzo) and moved to Fairfield in 1965. He Proudly served the Essex County Police Department from 1965 to 2004. Thomas rose through the ranks in the Detective Bureau attaining the ranks of Sergeant and Lieutenant before retiring as Captain of the Patrol Division. He received numerous awards and commendations for his work in the Detective Bureau. He is also survived by his two children son, Thomas III (wife Michelle) and daughter Maria Reyes (husband Joseph) and four grandchildren, Thomas IV, Nicholas, Joseph and Racquel. Funeral under the direction of Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Rd. Fairfield. Visitation Sunday 3-5pm. Catholic Prayer service 5pm. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name would be appreciated.
