Thomas Vernaglia

Vernaglia, Thomas, 89, of Fairfield, NJ formerly of Hoboken entered into eternal life on Friday, September 3, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Lucie (nee Catalano). Loving father of Claudette & her husband Thomas Murray, Thomas & his wife Marcia Vernaglia, and the late Michael Vernaglia. Cherished grandfather of Kristine Murray, Andrea & her husband Keith Dovoric, Lauren & her husband David Klaussen, & Jessica Vernaglia. Dear brother of Michael & the late Angela, James, Rose, Frank, & Tony Vernaglia. Tom was a veteran of WWII, honorably discharged in 1946 with European-Africian-Middle Eastern Service, Good Conduct, & WWII Victory Medals. He enjoyed voicing his interest for the good of his birthplace, Hoboken. Tom retired from a successful career of owning & operating Luncheonettes, the last of which was "Tommy's Luncheonette." Funeral Wednesday at 9:00AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10:00AM St. Francis Church, Hoboken. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday2-4 & 7-9PM.
