Ulises Maldonado

Ulises Maldonado, 87, of Bloomfield, New Jersey passed away on November 11, 2017. God called his angel home. He is survived by his daughters Minerva, Felicita, Carmen, and Maria, sons Abisain, Samuel, Alexander, Wilfredo, Raymond, and Joseph, grandchildren Maria, Natesha, Malisha, Josephine, Stephanie, Naomi, Debora, Desiree, and Bethanie, great-grandchildren David, Natasha, Zamaria, Ethan, Brianna, Evan, Hailey, Joselynn, Zachary, Journey, Jonas, and Selene.

Ulises was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico. He grew up in Newark, New Jersey where he raised his children as a single parent. He devoted his life to raising his children. He was an intelligent man with a college degree. He was a social worker in the city of Newark.

This wonderful man was a great father, care taker to others, a provider and especially a GREAT grandfather. His love was pure and genuine with a phenomenal caring heart. Ulises is the definition of a gentleman. He was our HERO! He loved being a father and grandfather. He will be missed very much, loved forever and never forgotten. We will forever cherish our memories with him and carry on his legacy.
