Valerie E. Czermak

Valerie Czermak (nee Wilczynski), age 91 of Eastampton New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2023. Valerie was the beloved wife of the late Leo Czermak, daughter of the late Felix & Mary Wilczynski and the mother-in-law of the late Claire Czermak. She was also the Godmother to the late Barbara Jean Geraci. She was the loving, caring mother of Patricia Czermak of Hawaii, Robert Czermak of Eastampton, New Jersey, Joanne (Tom May) of Southampton, New Jersey and Richard Czermak of Hackettstown, New Jersey. She was the cherished grandmother to Dan May, Michelle (Mike Corby), Andrew & Ashley Czermak, Michael Moskal (Leana) and Lori Moskal (Jim Forbes). She was also proud great-grandmother to Riley and Tyler Corby, Cameron and Claire Lui-Moskal and Iris Moskal Forbes and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Valerie was born and lived in Lyndhurst for 75 years, until she moved to Eastampton in 2008. Some of her famous sayings that will be remembered were - "Take one day at a time", "Count your blessings", "Love one another, "Forgive and Forget" and "Let it go". She was especially known for her devotion to St. Theresa (The Little Flower).

She always prayed that her influence would always remain in the hearts of those she left behind. Family and friends were the most important in her life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst from 2-5pm and 7-9pm on Sunday, November 12th. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 13th 10:30AM at St. Michael's Church on the corner of Ridge Road and Page Avenue, Lyndhurst. Burial service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Ridge Road, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Samaritan Hospice which can be done on Samaritan's website at www.samaritannj.org/giving.
