Vincent Domeraski

July 6, 1932 — May 4, 2007

Vincent Domeraski, 75, of Tinton Falls, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune. Vincent, the youngest of nine children, was born in Lyndhurst, where he lived with his family for over sixty-five years. He graduated from Queen of Peace High School in North Arlington. Vincent served in the United States Army in post-World War II Europe. He worked at Becton Dickinson in Rutherford for over thirty-five years. Throughout his life, Vincent enjoyed tending to and racing pigeons. In the past ten years, Vincent moved to Brick, then to Tinton Falls, where he continued to help care for his two sisters.
Vincent was predeceased by his parents, John and Virginia, and five brothers-Joseph, Sigmund, Chester, Stanley and John. Vincent is survived by his sisters-Bertha Janeczek and Stella, both of Tinton Falls-a brother, Alex, of Pheonix, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews. "Uncle Vic" will be remembered for his love of life, as manifested by his hobby of pigeon flying, and his love of family, as manifested by his care for his mother and sisters for the last thirty years of his life.
Visiting hours are 9-10:30am on Thursday at Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst followed immediately by a funeral mass at 11:00am at St. Michael's Church, 624 Page Avenue, Lyndhurst. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
