Vincent E Florkewicz

Vincent E. Florkewicz, 88, of West Caldwell, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Emma Marie (nee Rafter) Florkewicz. Loving father of Thomas Florkewicz. Dear brother of Stephen & Carol Florkewicz and Jeanette & the late William Christopher. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Mr. Florkewicz was an US Army Veteran serving in WWII from 1946-1948. He worked as a Transformer Engineer at ITT Avionics Division for 24 years. Vincent went on to be an Electronic Engineer for the DOD Logistics Agency for 17 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 2346 at St. Mary's in Nutley, National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 0476, and Stevens Alumni Association in Hoboken. Funeral Tuesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10AM St. Thomas More Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
