Vincent J. Massa III, a revered lawyer and esteemed member of the Wood Ridge, New Jersey community, passed away January 5, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on August 29, 1963, Vincent devoted his life to his profession and family, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and compassion.
Vincent proudly completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and earned his doctorate in law at Seton Hall. He had a distinguished career serving as an integral partner at Jones & Jones, Esqs., where he was admired by colleagues and clients alike for his dedication and expertise. He was known for his unwavering commitment to justice and advocacy, leaving a lasting impact on those he represented. Among his other accomplishments, Vincent was a member of the NJ Bar Association, loved fishing, sailing, and frequenting the beach.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents Vincent J. Massa Jr. & Anne Massa; his sister, Barbara Carlon; and his brother-in-law, Edward Malaniak.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Massa; his cherished children, Vincent J. Massa IV and Victoria Lourdes Massa; his sister, Josephine Malaniak; his mother-in-law, Patricia De Franco; his brother-in-law, Tom Carlon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and beloved dog, Tucker Massa, who will miss him profoundly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at 11:00am in St. Michael's Church, Lyndhurst.
Vincent J. Massa III will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his passion for law, and his kindness to all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
