Viola VanZilen Neu passed on from this life on April 8, 2020.

Born on April 3, 1946, the youngest of nine siblings, Viola was raised in Englewood, New Jersey. She served her family as a full-time caretaker and homemaker, while working part-time for the Lucas Aerospace for several years. She later resumed her caretaker role for several family members, including her precious grandchildren.

Viola is survived by her sons, Ronald, Timothy and his wife, Johannah, Daniel and his wife, Maryellen, and Matthew; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Maesyn and Jackson; siblings, Russell Van Zilen, and Katherine Larena; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Ronald Neu, and siblings May Gakoumis, Helma Pattershall, Margie Thaller, Florence Heil, George Van Zilen and Eleanor Gerster.

Plans for a memorial celebrating the life of Viola Neu will be announced after the state of New Jersey lifts limitations surrounding travel and gatherings. For updates on the memorial, please contact: TheNeuFamily@gmail.com.
