Vito Ribarro

Vito Ribarro, 61, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Wojdyla) Ribarro. Dear brother of Salvatore, James, Connie Ribarro and Josephine Kubitz. Adored grandfather of Mazzy Gehringer and Jack Humphreys. Cherished uncle of Justin and Jennifer Kubitz. Also survived by his much loved cockatiels, Bruno and Woody, who will miss him terribly. Mr. Ribarro was head custodian at Passaic Board of Education for 28 years. Vito was very proud of his greenhouse and enjoyed many hours tending to his vegetable and flower gardens and presenting his friends and coworkers with the fruits of his labor. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his gentle and considerate ways, his sense of humor, his willingness to lend a hand, his generosity and his undying love for his wife Sue, "the girl with the most beautiful blue eyes he had ever seen". Funeral Monday at 9 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Michael's R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
