Walter John Lange

Walter John Lange, 74, passed away May 13, 2016 at his home in Bayonne, NJ. Walter was born June 25, 1941 in Jersey City to Alfred C. and Dorothy M. Lange (nee Smith). A graduate of Dickinson High School, Walter went on to become an electrical engineer and inventor. He was also an expert HAM Radio operator, communicating with fellow enthusiasts around the globe. Walter was a marksman, an archer and a bowler. And on his world travels for work, he was able to engage in his particular love of photography. Walter was predeceased by his brother Alfred C. Lange and his sister Doris M. Verracino. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lanny S. Lange (nee Satterfield) and his step-children Brian, Keith, Susan, Dennis & his wife Naline & Jerome & his wife Jeannie DePippa. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 7pm at Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C Bayonne, NJ. Cremation Private. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM.
