Wilda Glaccum

Wilda Glaccum (nee Ranucci), 91, peacefully passed away on February 12, 2018. She left a daughter, Jo Ann, who was her pride & joy. She was an amazing mom and devoted daughter to Joseph & Margaret Ranucci and sister to Dr. William Ranucci & Dr. Robert Ranucci. She was married to Francis Xavier Glaccum. She lived independently at the Jersey Shore and enjoyed the Allenhurst Beach Club. She was an accomplished classical pianist, teacher, and attended Juilliard. She worked for the Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Rutgers University where she attended classes. She has a passion for music, travel, fashion, decorating, culture, beauty, and the finer things in life. She was a kind and generous person. She took great pleasure in giving to others and bringing joy to their lives. She had a zest for life and enjoyed her many romantic trips, especially to Italy where she embraced the Italian way of life. She touched the lives of so many people and will be deeply missed. Friends will be received Monday 3-7PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Cryptside service Tuesday 11:30AM at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
