William Brehm

March 1, 1945 — August 25, 2017

William (Bill) Brehm, 72, of Clifton, New Jersey, died peacefully on August 25, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey after a short term illness got the best of him. Bill is survived by his loving and cherished best friend and traveling companion of 30+ years, Charlie Rodriguez, three siblings Bob, Larry and Susan Kehoe, seven nieces and nephews, a loving godchild, John Moers, Jr. and his furry, four legged companion, Tita. Bill is predeceased by his parents Walter Brehm & Helen Brehm-Kehoe, one sister Connie Beke and two brothers Edward Brehm and Robert Brehm. Bill was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and resided in Lyndhurst, New Jersey before moving to Clifton, New Jersey. He was a graduate of Lyndhurst High School and for the bulk of his career was employed as Traffic Manager with Ronald Mark Associates, Inc. in Hillside, New Jersey. Bill's interests included domestic and international travel, visiting the Jersey shore during summer months, and spending time in New York City especially during the holidays when the decorations and "rhythm" of the city create a magical atmosphere. He enjoyed interacting with people from all walks of life and loved hosting parties that provided the opportunities to interact with family and friends. He was always grateful for the joy these people brought to his life. Bill's absence here on earth will create a void that will never be filled for many of us. Let us find comfort, however, in knowing that he has traveled to his final destination where his soul is at peace with our Heavenly Father and he is reunited with family and friends who went before him. Funeral service Wednesday 8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
