William George Bradley, 81, of Lyndhurst, NJ on Friday, November 7, 2008. Mr. Bradley was a retired firefighter and Captain of the Weehawken Fire Dept. for 25 years. He served as President of the Weehawken FMBA. A Glazier for 40 years, Bill was a member of Local 1009 and served on the Executive Board for 20 years. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of the Calo Sass VFW Post #4697 of North Arlington. A long time member of the Lyndhurst Elks BPOE #1505, he was a past Exalted Ruler. Mr. Bradley served as a Trustee on the Elks NJ State Handicapped Children's Committee and was an advocate for Camp Moore. Additionally he was a Stakeholder for the Lyndhurst High School Peer Group Connection and the Liaison for the LHS Elks Leadership Conference. Mr Bradley was a true volunteer, always helping those in need. Bill was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Margaret and cherished grandson Kyle. Loving father of Pamela Bradley & fiance Jason Gray, Maureen Bradley, Karen Vitale & husband Gary, Raymond Bradley, Mark Bradley & wife Michele , Kenneth Bradley & wife Kate Moore & William Bradley. Dear brother of Joseph Bradley and the late Stephen, Henry & Bernard Bradley & the late Catherine Mollo. Cherished grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of 2. Funeral at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass 10am Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
