William J. Schmidt

Rev. Dr. William J. Schmidt, died August 10, 2009. Born May 22, 1926. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary. He was Professor of Theology at St. Peter's College, Jersey City. He is survived by his wife, Jean; sister Elizabeth (Richard) Fetzer; sister-in-law, Eva Freeberg, and nieces, cousins & friends. The Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 150 E. Palisade Avenue, Englewood, on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 2 PM. Arrangements under the direction of Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee, NJ.
