William John Fuchs

Fuchs, William John, 93, of Fairfield, NJ passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Beloved husband of Fortune (nee DeFilippis) Fuchs. Loving father of Ann Marie & her husband Dr. Edward Vecchione, Deborah & her husband Thomas Gunick and Darlene Fuchs. Dear brother of Anna Lorcheim and the late George Fuchs & Loretta Zitney. Cherished grandfather of Dana & her husband Dr. Joseph Brignola, Erika & her husband Alexander Albu and Thomas Gunick Jr. Adored great-grandfather of Luke, Sofia & Ava Brignola and Mason & Mila Albu (Byron too). Mr. Fuchs was a veteran of the US Army during WWII serving from 1942-1946. He was a retired truck driver for Budweiser Brewery. Funeral Tuesday at 9:00AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10:30 am St. Lucy's R.C. Church, Newark. Interment St. Gertrude's Cemetery.
