William "Bill” Martinez was an energetic and enthusiastic man who will be missed by his brother, sister-in-law and nephew in Texas, sister in New Jersey, niece, nephew and their families in Kansas, cousins in Oklahoma and Wisconsin plus loved ones. Bill's brother and niece are U.S. Military veterans.
Bill was born on May 1, 1948. He lived and worked most of his life in New Jersey and spent some of his younger years in Ohio. Bill's father was a U.S. Civil Service Engineer working for the U.S. Air Force who was transferred with family to various posts including Curtiss Wright, in Fairfield, New Jersey and Wright Patterson Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. Bill was dedicated to his mother and siblings. Bill had aspirations of being an actor and to that end spent time in New York City taking lessons and acting. Bill loved the outdoors and working on home projects. He also enjoyed time with friends and family to debate domestic and international political issues. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
