William P. O'Brien, age 76, died on November 21, 2003 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Mr. O'Brien was born in Jersey City, living in Lyndhurst for most of his life and moving to Little Ferry 5 years ago. He was a truck driver for Carolina Freight in Carlstadt for 20 years. William was a U.S. Navy veteran during World War II. He was pre-deceased by his wife Jean (nee Healy) in 1998. Surviving are three sons William of Lyndhurst, Thomas of Vernon, and Timothy of Clifton. He also leaves a brother Robert of Secaucus and was pre-deceased by a sister Ronnie Krupinski in 1980. He is the cherished grandfather of Billy, Christina, Olivia, and Timothy. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9am from the Ippolito--Stellato Funeral Home 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst with a 10am Mass at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
