William Peter Panzarino

William “Bill” Panzarino, 83, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Fairfield, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Joyce (Sorrentino) Panzarino of 59 years.

Bill was born in Bronx, NY, in 1940 to Eleanore and Vito Panzarino. Later, the family moved to Leonia NJ where he attended Leonia High School. He was a veteran of the US Army.

He was a Salesman for Savarin Coffee and Tetley Tea, honored as Top Salesman for various awards. After his retirement in 2005, he went on to work with his son. Bill loved going to the racetrack and betting on the horses, and listening to all things Elvis. After years of perfecting his homemade sauce, he was proud to open his small business Panzarino Gourmet Foods, where he jarred and sold it in several grocery stores. He loved talking about his grandchildren and all of their accomplishments.

Loving father of Janine Panzarino and her partner Frank Lovato, James Panzarino & his wife JacLyn, and Michelle Russotto and her husband Vincent Russotto.

Cherished grandfather of Taylor Bledsoe & her husband Jasper, James Panzarino, Casey Waldron, Michael Panzarino, Michael Bello, Nicolette Waldron, Vincent Panzarino, Mia Russotto, and Joseph Panzarino. Adored great-grandfather of Isabella Joyce Bledsoe.

He is predeceased by granddaughter Caleigh-Marie Waldron.

He is also survived by twin sisters JoAnn Panzarino & Carol Russo and sisters-in-law Janet Leo and Charlotte Sorrentino.

He is predeceased by brother Vincent Panzarino, brother-in-law Steven Russo, and brother-in-law Peter Leo.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his nephew Victor.

Funeral Saturday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass Saturday 10AM St. Thomas More Church. Cremation Private.
